Contemp. pigskin over wooden boards with blind- and roll tooling as well as 2 punched brass clasps. - Front flying endpaper with ms. note from 1736. - 1 quire (Qqq and Qqqq) misbound. - Browned, stained in places, title and armorial woodcut with small pieces of corners torn off, 1 l. with split, last 8 ll. of index loosened, rear flying endpaper removed. Binding rubbed, scraped and scuffed in places, defective spot to lower spine end, corner fittings removed.
