Sehr früher Bibelkommentar in chinesischer Sprache, selten. Laut Darlow/Moule erschien die früheste chinesische Bibelübersetzung (Matthäus-Evangelium) erst 1810. "Though no evidence exists to prove that the Jesuits, who began missionary work in China in the sixteenth century, ever printed any considerable portion of the Scriptures in Chinese before 1800, yet MS. translations were certainly current amongst them, and it is most probable that selections from these were printed and circulated in the eighteenth century" (Darlow/M. 2452). - Umschlagtitel mit hs.
