Erste Straßburger Ausgabe von Bd. I der sehr geschätzten Lambini-Bearbeitung. - Lambini, "whose critical abilities, and various erudition, well fitted him for the office of editor of Cicero" (Dibdin), veröffentlichte die Werke Ciceros erstmals 1566 in Paris. - Enthält am Anfang Ciceros Vita sowie eine Inhaltsübersicht aller Bände der Werkausgabe. - Tls. fleckig, zu Beginn und am Ende mit geringen Randläsuren. Einbd. fleckig und vereinz. mit kl. Wurmspuren, Pgt.-Bezug am Innendeckel tlw. aufgeplatzt.

Contemp. flex. vellum with 5 black floral stamps on cover and edges with striple tooling. - Partly stained, first and last leaves with small marginal defects.
