Prachtvolles Insekten- und Schmetterlingswerk in erster Ausgabe, unterschiedlich gebunden. - Die Bde. I, III-V, VII, IX, X, XV und XVI sind vollständig vorhanden. Nur in Teilen vorhanden die Bde. II (31 von 36 Taf.), VI (6 von 31 Taf.), VIII (32 von 36 Taf.). Die Bde. I, III, VII und X sind tlw. doppelt vorhanden mit insges. 105 Tafeln in Dubletten. - Die äußerst fein kolorierten Tafeln zeigen jeweils eine Spezies, meist mit Pflanzen und den verschiedenen Stadien ihrer Metamorphose. - Einige Taf. verbunden. - Stellenw. leicht gebräunt bzw. braunfleckig. Einbde. tls. berieben, 2 Rücken unter Verwendung alten Materials erneuert. 2 gest. Exlibris.
