Nahezu geschlossene Folge der ersten 68 Bde. Vorhanden: Bd. 1-48, 50, und 52-68 sowie Indexbd. für die Bde. 1-53. - Bei der Neubindung stellenw. knapp beschnitten (überwieg. in den ersten Bdn.; vereinz. Text oder Tafelnumerierung etw. angeschnitten), ab. Bd. 7 großformatiger gebunden, 4 Tafeln mit altem Bibl.-Stempel und in etw. kleinerem Format (wohl aus einem and. Expl. ergänzt), vereinz. leicht gebräunt oder gering stockfleckig, sonst gutes, innen sauberes Exemplar.

Nearly close set of the first 68 volumes with general index-vol. (for 1-53), lacking only vol. 49 and 51, bound in 46 vols. Contains 2 engr. portraits and 3803 copperplates (3800 hand-colored, 339 folding). Lacking only 1 plate (no. 152), otherwise complete. Mod. morocco with gilt title. - Partly cropped close, mostly in the first vols., here and there affecting printed matter), from vol. 7 and vol. 53 size of binding larger, 4 plates with old library stamp and in smaller size (presumable supplied from another copy), here and there slight browning and minor foxing, else good, inside clean copy.
