1 von 250 numerierten Exemplaren der Londoner Ausgabe auf Maillol-Bütten, im Druckvermerk vom Künstler signiert. Mit einer zusätzlichen Suite der Holzschnitte. Die Folge der 57 Holzschnitte, von denen einige nicht für die Buchillustration verwendet wurden, auf verschiedenen Papieren abgezogen, einige im ersten Zustand. 6 Holzschnitte des Buches in der Suite nicht enthalten, 6 in zwei und 1 in drei Zuständen. Im gleichen Jahr erschienen auch eine französische und eine deutsche Ausgabe.

EINBAND: Pergamentband d. Zt. und Halbpergamentdecke, beide mit goldgeprägtem Rückentitel. 20,5 : 13 cm. - ILLUSTRATION: Mit 52 Orig.-Holzschnitten von A. Maillol und einer Extrasuite mit 57 Holzschnitten. - KOLLATION: Vereinz. kl. Stockflecken auf den Blättern der Separatabzüge, ansonsten sehr gut erhalten. - PROVENIENZ: Privatsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen.

Contemp. vellum with gilt title on spine and orig. wrappers in contemp half vellum cover with gilt tilte on spine. - Suite here and there slightly foxed, otherwise good copy.
