Weltkarte im Oval mit vier Eckmedaillons mit klassischen Texten und 2 Schmuckkartuschen, in den Zwischenräumen reiches Beschlagwerk. - "The oval world map used previously has been updated in two major repects: South America now assumes the more correct shape ... and the Solomon Islands are marked for the first time. " (Sh.) - Mit latein. Rückentext. - Kl. Papierbrüche und beidseit. Einriss in Mittelfalte wie auch einige kl. Wurmlöcher im Rand und vereinz. in der Darstellung fachmännisch restauriert. Schönes Exemplar.
Oval full colour world map with four medaillons in the corners. 1st state of 3rd plate. Latin text on verso. - Smlall breaks of paper and tears to centrefold as well as some small wormholes in margins and occasionally in illustration skillfully restaure. Fine copy.
