Signed lower right. 50 : 40 cm (19,6 : 15,7 in). An excellent example of exquisite fine painting. Vida Gabor first worked as a musician at the Budapest opera and did not start painting until rather late in his lifetime. He achieved a high reputation as a precisionist painter through the participation in the 'European Fine Art Fair Mecc. Mastricht' and numerous other exhibitions. [HL]
