Nicht im VD 16, nicht bei Schottenloher und Heyd. - Die erste gedruckte protestantische Eheordnung, gedruckt noch vor der ersten offiziellen Ausgabe im Jahr 1553 (VD 16, W 4518). Verfaßt wurde dieser Entwurf von Erhard Schnepf unter Mitarbeit von Joh. Brenz, S. Grynäus, M. Bucer, A. Blaurer und Melanchthon. "It is known that the draft was submitted to Ambrosius Blaurer, Martin Bucher, Simon Grynaeus and perhaps to several others and that Duke Ulrich of Württemberg asked Philipp of Hessia as late as June 5, 1536 to send him the Hessian Eheordnung for comparative purposes. It is generally assumed that disagreement over the provisions of the regulations postponed their publication at least until after that date. Though it is likely that copies were circulated for criticism in manuscript form, it also appears possible that the Eheordnung had been printed in draft form while still being reviewed and to an experimental adoption, i. e. between December 22, 1534 and the fall of 1536."
