With 2 rep. woodcut printer's devices and ca. 170 woodcuts in the text. 17th century half calf with rich gilt spine. - Woodcuts show surgical instruments and operations. - Binding stronger stained and scuffed. - Stained in places, with traces of damp at the beginning, white margin of three sheets towards the end mended, 1 page with adhesive remains of paper. - Title with small armorial bookplate as well as ms. entries, with note "Bibliotheca Windhagenae. - Catalogo inscript - 1666" above printer's device, half title with library stamp indicating that the work is a doublet.
